22 On Sloane, in partnership with the UK-South Africa Tech Hub, proudly celebrates the graduation of the Township Digital Market Access Programme participants.

 

This milestone marks the completion of an intensive journey where township-based entrepreneurs have been equipped with the tools, skills, and digital platforms needed to expand their market reach. The programme has empowered SMMEs by enabling access to e-commerce platforms, last-mile delivery solutions, and essential digital skills to scale their businesses successfully.

 

This exclusive graduation event will bring together programme participants, mentors, and key stakeholders to reflect on their achievements, showcase their progress, and celebrate their role in driving digital transformation in township economies.

The Startup Huddle event provides a platform for entrepreneurs to discover solutions to the challenges they face through purposeful engagement with a broad array of voices from the local community, who can also share their experiences.

 

Startups are given context about the topic at hand, which includes tools, tricks and techniques from experts. This can take up to 10min. Thereafter, they will be given 2-3 minutes to tell us about some of the challenges they have encountered in their business venture. Participants then get into small groups where they Huddle for a 10-minute -interactive activity. Each group selects a team member or two to share what they discussed. The Huddle will close off having equipped the techies with practical and value-add experience they can use in their startup journey.

The Pitch Deck Design Workshop is a structured and professionally facilitated session aimed at equipping SMMEs with the knowledge and skills to develop a clear, compelling, and investor-ready pitch deck. The workshop covers essential components such as strategic content structuring, effective storytelling, visual design, and the presentation of key business and financial information.
