About The African Bank Business Skills Bootcamp

The African Bank Business Skills Bootcamp, in partnership with African Bank, is a five-day intensive programme designed for township entrepreneurs in Mpumalanga (Emalahleni) Targeting 20 Go-Getters.

The bootcamp will provide essential skills to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Programme Objectives

Capacitate and support go-getter SMMEs to further strengthen the value proposition.

Increase the number of Township SMMEs onboarded on e-commerce and digital platforms for sales growth.

Strengthen the ecosystem through collaboration, knowledge-sharing and capacity building.

Drive digital inclusion to promote business development.

Monitor and evaluate the programmer's impact on the participants and broader community.

The UK-South Africa Tech Hub

An initiative of the UK government, designed to promote digital inclusion and inclusive growth of the digital ecosystems in partner countries. The International Tech Hubs are expert teams which work to stimulate local digital economies, build high-end digital skills, and forge innovation partnerships between local tech sectors and international businesses.

22 On Sloane is the largest startup campus and entrepreneurship hub in Africa. The campus offers startups and innovative SMMEs a complete turnkey solution to scale, from the initial idea to commercialisation, funding opportunities and access to markets. Its aim is to nurture the entrepreneurial mindset, ensure their sustainability, and explore development of new industries while contributing towards job creation in Africa.
