About The Google for Startups Accelerator

A three-month hybrid accelerator program for growth-stage technology startups. The Accelerator is designed to bring the best of Google's programs, products, people, and technology to South African-led startups looking to scale their impact.

Programme Objectives

Capacitate and support Township SMMEs to operate sustainably.

Increase the number of Township SMMEs onboarded on e-commerce and digital platforms for sales growth.

Strengthen the ecosystem through collaboration, knowledge-sharing and capacity building.

Drive digital inclusion to promote business development.

Monitor and evaluate the programmer's impact on the participants and broader community.

22 On Sloane is the largest startup campus and entrepreneurship hub in Africa. The campus offers startups and innovative SMMEs a complete turnkey solution to scale, from the initial idea to commercialisation, funding opportunities and access to markets. Its aim is to nurture the entrepreneurial mindset, ensure their sustainability, and explore development of new industries while contributing towards job creation in Africa.
