About Transnet Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD) Programme

Transnet, in partnership with 22 On Sloane, invites eligible South African SMMEs to apply for the Transnet Enterprise and Supplier Development Incubation Programme. This high-impact initiative accelerates the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of Black, Women and Youth-owned enterprises across priority economic sectors. Successful applicants will participate in a structured 6–12-month incubation programme.

Programme Objectives

Facilitate personal and professional growth of business owners by advancing strategic planning, financial management, and leadership competencies.

Guide the development and implementation of quality frameworks and procedures.

Enable access to local and international markets, fostering improved competitiveness and unlocking new avenues for business expansion.

Assist businesses in enhancing their operational and financial capabilities to become more competitive.

Monitor and evaluate the programmer's impact on the participants and broader community.

22 On Sloane is the largest startup campus and entrepreneurship hub in Africa. The campus offers startups and innovative SMMEs a complete turnkey solution to scale, from the initial idea to commercialisation, funding opportunities and access to markets. Its aim is to nurture the entrepreneurial mindset, ensure their sustainability, and explore development of new industries while contributing towards job creation in Africa.
