The United Nations Development Plan South Africa (UNDP) In partnership with 22 On Sloane launched the Post-Covid Early Recovery Grant 2021 which aimed to support 10 small-scaled female owned businesses in townships. Furthermore, we had a strategic session with the purpose of creating a platform for the ladies to obtain sound advice and guidance to address their business problems as well as help them in igniting innovative ideas that would lead to business success. In celebration of #internationalwomensday observed on 08 March, the UNDP and 22 On Sloane announced the awarding of USD$5k seed grant each to 10 female entrepreneurs in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng townships. This initiative forms part of the UNDP and 22 On Sloane’s ongoing efforts to support the Department of Small Business Development to advance small business development in the country.
